Yikes.
You may have scared me into making a dentist appointment. I HATE going to the dentist more than anything in the world (i blame it on having monthly orthodontist appointments through 5 years of braces) and I haven’t been in a really, really long time. And I keep putting it off, because I know they’re going to yell at me for how horrible my teeth are.

Gah, I’m sorry – that seriously blows. I’m HORRIBLE at flossing and lo, where do I get cavities? Between my teeth! BOO.

But I know what it feels like to be in chronic pain, pain that keeps you awake and I’m very sorry that you know what it’s like, too.

It’s so funny how we don’t think about things we “need” to do until we experience some kind of pain.

I had a bad toothache earlier this year and I had no idea why! So I promised myself to brush my teeth three times a day, floss, and use mouthwash twice a day. I promised to schedule a cleaning.

Then the pain went away. And I floss now and then but not regularly. I do brush my teeth and use mouthwash (yay, me!) but due to no health insurance, I haven’t scheduled an appt, although I’m much overdue!

Oh Amy! Did you make an appointment to find out what’s going on? As a dental professional, I tell people all the time…..go before it hurts! That’s the thing we say more than anything else! Even if you go and you have cavities everytime, if you go every six months, it will never be as bad as it is now. I hope you feel better!! Tooth pain is absolutely the worst and I’m sorry you have to endure it!

Oh gosh, how horrible!! I hope that you feel better. I have been putting off going to the dentist… I’m a little (okay, A LOT) overdue for a cleaning. I HATE going, but after reading your post, I suppose I will schedule an appt. soon!

Awwww but I feel the same way and don’t want to go!!. Don’t make meeee Amyyyy! I’m sorry this happened to you. What was the problem? This happened to me when my wisdom teeth were coming in, because they were pushing into a molar that had a cavity so deep it went into the nerves and I ended up having to have a root canal.
