Sometimes… you just have to run with the people and opportunities life gives you and screw your weird preconceived notions about “appropriate timing”
sometimes you have to hold fast to your standards, even if it means you risk losing a love you thought held so much promise….
Ahhhhh this is exactly what I needed to read today! My boyfriend just texted me a bit ago asking if I wanted to go to The Casbah tonight to see a band that I LOVE…and while I said yes, I’ve been being pouty about it, too. “I have to work tomorrow…I don’t want to be out to late…I’m so tired & just want to relax…” etc. But the truth is I know I will thank myself for going, and sometimes, you just gotta live a little.
sometimes….you have to quit closing your eyes every time you hit a bump and just throw your hands in the air and enjoy the ride!
Sometimes, no matter how gross or crampy or non-social you’re feeling, you have to suck it up and take that first step out the door so that you don’t miss an amazing time with friends.

Sometimes you DO have to cry, you’ve been holding this emotion in for too long. Sometimes you have to stop thinking about how you want to live your life and start LIVING your life. Sometimes things turn out alright, and you realize that everything DOES happen for a reason.
Sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and remind yourself that someday your puppy will be house-trained rather than burst into tears at the sight of another puddle. Or maybe that’s just me
I love those guys. I saw them before they became famous (I know that’s such an obnoxious thing to say but it’s true) when they rolled through my super small home town on a night when I needed to take a guy on a date and didn’t know what else to do, so we went and saw their show. I had never heard of them before, but I’ve been a fan ever since! I’m so glad they are catching on!
Sometimes you have to say “no” to something you really want to do because you need to spend more time with your husband and friends.
