…and I’m about to get it back!
If you know me at all and ask me about Sacramento, it’s likely I’ve given you a litany of reasons why I love the city. The coffee shops, music scene, great restaurants, Second Saturday Art Walks, my favorite yoga studio, all the trees…so many reasons why I absolutely adore Sacramento. For the past year and a half, Andrew and I have resided in a suburb near the town I grew up in. I’d lived in Midtown Sacramento for nearly five years prior and leaving was agonizing, but it was the right choice at the time.
On Friday, we rented a new apartment in Midtown. I absolutely cannot wait to be back in the city I love, just in time for summer Concerts In The Park, warm nights outside and before the gorgeous Fall finery takes over the thousands of trees downtown. I’m also crawling Apartment Therapy and all sorts of design blogs in order to find inspiration for gussying up our brand new, two bedroom little home.
I can’t wait to be back! Just a few weeks and then I’ll be in the city that feels like home.
